Athletic Background: I first got a taste of volleyball in middle school and since then I’ve been hooked. I was the Libero and back up setter for Niles North High School from 2002-2006 and All-American Libero/Setter for Oakton Community College from 2006-2008.
Experience: I was the Assistant Coach of Oakton Community College Women’s Volleyball for the 2013-2014 season. I am currently the Head Coach of Girls’ Junior Varsity Volleyball at Niles West. I am starting my 3rd season as an assistant coach for Skyline.
Team Goal: By mid-season I want my team to have a strong sense of team culture and to be able to push themselves and their teammates to work hard and get better with every rep they take. I want them to develop/master their fundamental skills and continue to grow their love of the game. By the end of the season I want my team to develop advanced techniques and strengthen their tactical skills that will help them become all-around strong volleyball athletes that will continue to excel and grow beyond club season.
